4.8 earthquake hits Karpathos

The depth was measured at 5km

A 4.8 earthquake rocked the island of Karpathos at 12:51 pm Saturday.

According to the Geodetic Institute of the National Observatory of Athens, the tremor had its epicentre 71 km southeast of Karpathos with a focal depth of 5 km.
