4th International Greek Conference by “Nostos” in Buenos Aires

Greeks from around the world are gathering in Argentina for a focus on how Ancient Greek civilization has influenced the world

The 4th International Greek Conference organized by the Hellenic Cultural Organization “Nostos” is planned at the University of Belgrano in Buenos Aires, Argentina, from December 3-5. The goal of “Nostos” is to teach and learn the Greek language and culture in Latin America and around the world. Their three-day seminar is aimed at showing the influence of the Greek language, culture and civilization in all facets of life.

Dozens of scientists, professors and artists from a number of countries are participating in the event that brings speakers from around Argentina, Greece, Canada, Brazil, Chile, Venezuela, Spain and the United States to Buenos Aires.

The focus will be on issues as diverse as “Women and Immigration in Canada” to “Kavafis: The Greek identity in the diaspora” to “Spirit of the Democracy”, Greek education in Argentina and even the findings of Amphipolis.
