A “Samurai” at Tsipras’s Athens rally (photos)

He was swiftly taken away by security staff

A rather strange sight caught many Greeks by surprise while they were gathering for the speech of Greek PM Alexis Tsipras at Syntagma Square on Friday. A Japanese man dressed in traditional Samurai garb with sword and all was walking around the square.

Security guards quickly and discreetly escorted the man away from the rally, although he did not seem to present any threat.
