All Covid-19 measures for schools lifted

They were in effect for the past 3 years

The Covid-19 measures in schools, which were implemented for the past 3 years, have been lifted, as defined by a Joint Ministerial Decision of the Ministries of Health and Education (Government Gazette 2019 B/30-3-2023).

According to the decision, the five-day quarantine will not apply to students who are sick with the coronavirus and absences will count as normal.

Also, absences due to flu will normally be counted, which until now were recorded but not counted.
