Equity prices rose at 11 a.m. on Friday on the Athens Stock Exchange (ASE), with the basic share price index up 0.58% at 838.23 points and turnover at 5.70 million euros.

The FTSE/ASE Large Cap index for blue chip and heavily traded stocks increased by 1.06% while the FTSE/ASE Mid Cap index was down 0.56%.

On individual sector indices, the biggest gains were in Food (+4.01%), Industrial Products (+1.03%) and Banks (+0.77%). The biggest losses were in Telecoms (-1.03%), Oil (-0.85%), and Raw Material (-0.58%).

25 of the stocks traded increased, 21 decreased and 8 remained unchanged.
