Shots fired in Malmo, Sweden

The gunman was armed with a shotgun, Swedish media has reported

Shots have been fired in downtown Malmo, in Swedeen, Monday night. According to initial reports, 4 people have been wounded.

Police have sealed off several streets in the coastal city as officers hunt for the shooter.

The shooting started shortly after 9pm local time (8pm BST) on Drottninggatan, a wide boulevard running through the centre of Malmo.

The gunman was armed with a shotgun, Swedish media has reported.

A senior police officer refused to comment on the condition of those injured.
