Crete hit by magnitude 4 earthquake

It was pinpointed 79 kilometres southeast of Agios Nikolaos

According to the Athens Geodynamic Institute automatic solution, an earthquake measured at 4 on the Richter scale at a focal depth of 30 kilometres hit Crete at 6.30 in the morning.

As for the epicentre of the earthquake, it was pinpointed 79 kilometres southeast of Agios Nikolaos in the north east of the island.
