A forest area between Stamata and Rodopoli, Attica, is currently in flames.

The fire broke out near a residential area next to the cemetery of Stamata in the Municipality of Dionysos, while winds of up to five Beaufort are blowing in the area.

A total of 43 men of the Fire Brigade are on the spot and operate with 14 vehicles along with volunteers, while from the air they being assisted with water drops, by two aircraft and two helicopters.
