Messinia hotel upgrade to create more jobs

Deputy Development and Competitiveness Minister N. Mitarachis has approved the upgrade of the Messinia hotel unit

Deputy Development and Competitiveness Minister Notis Mitarachis approved a plan to upgrade an existing hotel unit in the region of Messinia, in the Peloponnese. The plan states that Hospitality of Messinia (HO.ME. Ltd) company, currently being set up, will receive 9,973 million euros out of a total cost of 19,946 million euros in the form of a subsidy to upgrade the 613-bed hotel in the area of Velikas from a three-star to a four-star category.

It is estimated the investment will create 100 new jobs after the second year of operation.
