More arrests in grisly case involving suffocated migrants

Romanian man held after death toll along Austrian motorway tragedy is raised from initial estimate of 50 victims

Hungarian police have arrested the driver of a truck found on an Austrian motorway packed with the decomposing bodies of 71 people, including at least four children.
The man was identified as a Romanian national.
According to Guardian, the arrest came Austrian police confirmed another three arrests in the case, following local media reports that seven smugglers linked to the vehicle had been held by authorities in Hungary.
The truck was found abandoned on the paved shoulder of the roadway near Parndorf, had apparently been there since Wednesday. Austrian police said the victims appeared to have suffocated and died before they entered Austria.
