PM Mitsotakis: The new Patras-Pyrgos highway is the road to hope for Western Greece

The trip Patras – Pyrgos will be reduced by 40 minutes – The project is expected to be completed in early 2025

The beginning of the works for the construction of the new Patras – Pyrgos highway was announced by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, from a construction site in Geraki, in Amaliada.

The new highway will reduce the trip Patras – Pyrgos by 40 minutes.

It is a road with three lanes, in each direction, 8 junctions, 64 crossings and 15 bridges. The project is expected to be completed in early 2025.

“The new highway Patras – Pyrgos is a practical proof that we provide solutions based on the interest of many”, the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport Kostas Ach. Karamanlis stated.
