Six Greek Universities were included in the top tertiary institutions globally for 2017. The National Technical University of Athens (Metsovio) was ranked among the top 50 Universities in the world in the field of civili engineering. The Athens University of Economics and Business is ranked between 151-200 on the fields of Accounting & Finance, Business Administration and Economic Science. The Aristotle University of Thessaloniki was placed between 35-400 in the field of Biology Sciences, 251-300 in Economy and Econometrics, 201-250 in Chemical Engineering, 251–300 in Law, and 201-250 in Pharmacy and Pharmacology. Harvard University was top in 15 fields, with MIT classified as the top school in 12 top disciplines. The rankings are based on data from scientific papers and peer-reviews literature published by the institutions (Scopus), the international prestige of the University and its global reputation, which is derived from the opinions of 40,643 executives in the market, as well as the reviews of 74,651 professors.
