The Greek monsters invade Chicago (Watch video)

“The Greek Monsters” exhibition has opened in the National Hellenic Museum

After their successful Manhattan show, the Cyclops, the Minotaur, the Stymphalian Birds and more than twenty monsters from the Greek mythology are moving to the “city by the lake” for a new and exciting presentation of Beetroot’s exhibition: The Greek Monsters.

The exhibition opened its doors last year to Greek visitors at the Benaki Museum and the Macedonian Museum of Contemporary Art; it consisted of installations, three-dimensional sculptures and digital ‘invisible’ monsters which become visible, are completed or are brought to life with the use of smart electronic devices such as tablets and smartphones.

The exhibition as well as The Little Monsters educational program for children of all ages, are presented in collaboration with the National Hellenic Museum (333 South Halsted Street, Chicago) and are open to the public from September 2014 until May 2015.
