There are major shortages of vaccines and pharmaceuticals on Greek market, pharmacists say

According to head of the Greek pharmacists association this is a “humanitarian, health and social crisis”

The head of the Greek pharmacists association Kostas Lourantos warned on Thursday that there are major shortages in vaccines and pharmaceutical preparations for which there is high demand.

Mr. Lourantos characterized this as an “unprecedented situation” and expressed his worries that the problem will get worse in the winter months.

According to head of the Greek pharmacists association this is a “humanitarian, health and social crisis” and pharmacists are daily struggling to find drugs for their customers, who often have to pay very high contributions.
