Topaz yacht, owned by Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan visits Chania

The luxurious Topaz motor yacht, belonging to Manchester City football club owner Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, arrived this morning at the Venetian port of Chania.

The luxury vessel, because of its size but also for security reasons, did not approach the central pier of the port but remained approximately one mile off the breakwater of the Venetian lighthouse and the eastern part of the Gulf of Chania.

The luxury motor yacht constructed by Lürssen in Bremen, Germany and its cost has been estimated at €400 million. Topaz ties with Prince Abdulazizis for the title of world’s fifth largest private yacht, both holding a length of 147 metres, and its beam reaches approximately 22 meters. The impressive vessel is equipped with anchor Stabilizers, Jacuzzi (on deck), Lift, Helicopter Landing Pad, Swimming Pool, Tender Garage, Swimming Platform, Air Conditioning, Underwater Lights. Also on board there is fitness hall, cinema and large conference room.
