Alexis Tsipras proposed that the Greek people say “No” to Europe, announcing the government’s decision to proceed to a referendum next Sunday. In other parts of his speech, the PM appeared as an enemy to Europe and to others as one who pleads, when he asked on whether the question that the people will be asked to answer will be “Yes” or “No” to the measures of the lenders.

Parliament will be convening on Saturday at noon to be filled in by the Prime Minister.
