    • The Radical Left Coalition (SYRIZA), Greece’s new government, has in the past aired pro-Palestinian positions, as the party often identified with the Palestinian cause and in its calls for an end to Greece’s high-profile military cooperation with Israel. Last year, during a March in Athens against Israel’s Operation Protective Edge against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, Tsipras said the “world should make every possible effort so that Israel ends its criminal attack and brutality against Palestinians”. He also expressed support and solidarity to the Palestinians, especially noting that the “killing of children” was unacceptable.TSIPRAS1

Several of the party members have been seen using the Nazi salute.
