Two refugee children dead near Samos were twin brothers

In the latest development of the tragic incident of the death of two refugee minors near the Greek island of Samos when their boat sank it was found that two children were twin boys aged 4.5 years old, while the man that was later found dead was their father.

The search for survivors ended in the early hours of Thursday when the coast guard identified the missing person as the father of the two boys who died of hypothermia.
The remaining nine survivors, who were pulled out of the cold Aegean waters swimming at night were taken to hospital and are well in their health.
