Player spits opponent after teammate scored winning goal
The Athenian football derby on Sunday ended with Panathinaikos clinching 3 points away from home against AEK Athens in the dying stages of the match by scoring a 3rd goal (3-2). Apart from Marcus Berg’s goal that decided the outcome of the match, another incident that missed the attention of many was greens’ forward Sebastian Leto spitting AEK midfielder Petros Mantalos in the face immediately after Berg scored.
