ANEL: All but Melas agreed unanimously not to vote for the new president of the republic

The end of the two-day conference of the Independent Greeks

The two-day conference of the Independent Greeks ANEL ended on with a unanimous decision not to vote for the new president of the republic in parliament.

 The leader of the Independent Greeks at the end of the conference and the decision made stated that:“None of the party MPs will vote for the new president of the republic”.

Further, Mr. Panagiotis Kammenos predicted general elections by the end of March.

Finally, Mr. Kammenos stressed that he will defend the “red lines” he has drawn and underlined that he is in favor of a constitutional revision.
