Animal rights activists protest in underwear in Spain (photos+video)

10,000 take part in protests, says Valencia province authorities

Nearly 10,000 people took part in a protest against bull fighting in Spain. The event was organised by the provincial government of Valencia with hundreds of activists turning out in a Madrid plaza wearing black underwear and painted in red to show their opposition to bull-fighting, which is a traditional spectacle in many parts of the country. The country seems split on the issue with thousands also protesting in favour of bullfighting in March.
