According to CNN Turk, a Turkish man attempted to assassinate the former Turkish PM Ahmet Davutoglu, Wednesday. The attempt reportedly occurred at a Mosque where Davutoglu was attending a funeral. The man, who was wearing a black shirt with the phrase ‘I am a Turk’, purportedly approached Davutoglu and told him: ‘Now you won’t be able to kill me. I will kill you’. The man was apprehended by the former PM’s guards and taken to a police station were he was questioned. The report claims the man is suffering from psychological problems. It is the second attempt against the life of Davutoglu in the past months.
