A 28-year-old girl has been recently diagnosed with a rare form of cancer close to her heart and has to be transferred to Boston, U.S so as to undergo a specialized surgery.

Last night the Greek government announced that Denia Paraschi will be transferred to US by prime minister’s aircraft.

But, according to reports, the doctors who treat her did not give the “green light” to be transferred Boston, while the family is still waiting for their approval.

The surgery cannot be performed in Europe, while the cost of the transfer is estimated at 70,000 euros.

As soon as her health problem became known, people responded immediately and in one day Greek people donated the amount needed for Denia to be transferred to U.S.

The Greek American expatriates have also expressed their full support to her and her family, while the players of Greece’s National Football team contributed to raising the required money.
