Charlie Hebdo’s front page lends support to Greece

The French satirical magazine stood in support of Greece ahead of Wednesday's Eurogroup meeting

Satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo stood by Greece in its front-page cover titled “Save Europe… Drown a Greek.”

The cartoon depicts IMF Chief Christine Lagarde drowning a Greek in a tub of water.

The satirical magazine grabbed the public spotlight in shootings in 2011 and 2015 presumed to be in response to cartoons viewed to be offensive to Islam.
