Delta Air Lines restarts nonstop flights service from Athens to New York effective April 5, 2016.

The U.S. airline marks its 25th anniversary of service to Greece this year and has transported more than 1.5 million passengers between Athens and the United States since its first flight on November 1, 1991.

The flight service will resume with daily service from April 5, 2016, while during the peak summer season between June 17 and the end of September 2016, a second flight will be added to operate on a daily basis.
