Dick Cheney: “Bush knew all about the torture methods of CIA”

Lithuania, Poland and Afghanistan also used the similar torture methods

Newsroom December 11 08:52

US Vice President Dick Cheney supports that during his Presidency George W. Bush knew all about the torture methods of CIA.

According to BBC cited statements by Cheney in American network «Fox News»,  Bush was fully informed about the torture methods imposed to terrorist suspects by CIA officials.

During Bush’s Presidency the CIA was using inhumane tactics such as waterboarding, washing with ice, etc., at terrorist suspects and shortly before leaving the White House, Bush ordered the termination of the program.

At the same time, the report that the US Senate gave publicity  argues that the CIA had never fully informed President Bush in 2006, as he expressed discomfort to find out the details.

Furthermore, among other Dick Cheney  hastened to say that  the CIA officials never tried to mislead the public about the methods applied, and stated that: “All this is nonsense. Of course the CIA did not attempt to mislead the public and George Bush knew all that he should know about the program”.
