Dijsselbloem requests urgent probe of Greek request for 1.2 bln euros of FSF

Both reports say that President of the Eurogroup asked that the matter be investigated immediately by the teams of the EWG.

In a letter to the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF) and the head of the Euro Working Group, Thomas Wieser, Eurogroup head and Dutch Finance Minister Jeroen Dijsselbloem requested an urgent investigation of the Greek request for the 1.2 bln euros that was sent by mistake to the temporary rescue mechanism from the FSF, according to Bloomberg and MNI.

Both reports stated that Dijsselbloem requested that the matter be investigated immediately by the teams of the EWG.

Under standard procedure, the Single Supervisory Mechanism (SSM) submits the request to the EFSF, while the final decision is taken by the Board of the Fund.
