Economy Minister George Stathakis  is expected to release statement to answer on undeclared assets worth over a million euro.

According to information of protothema.gr, Mr. Stathakis will claim that he filed voluntarily the supplementary statement to the relevant committee in March 2015. The supplementary statement concerns the financial years of 2012, 2013 and 2014 and not 2011 which has already been published and cannot be revised.

Mr. Stathakis is reportedly expected to argue that the supplementary statement was submitted because he had forgotten to declare a bank account in Greek bank where he is a co-holder with a member of his family. This bank account, though, included one million euro, but now the balance is zero.
