Erdogan arrests two judges who overturned release of his political adversaries

They freed over 60 people who were arrested last year during the raids to journalist offices

Turkish authorities jailed two judges who are accused of setting dozens of political enemies of Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdogan, free.

 

The two judges freed journalists and around 60 police officers who were arrested last year on charges of conspiracy against the President.

 

The judges were immediately relieved of their duties, while the Turkish Attorney General ordered their immediate arrest.
