Govt source: 1st IMF installment of 310 mln euros paid on Friday

It should be noted that Greece still has to pay three other installments, on March 13, 16 and 20 as part of its obligations to the IMF this month.

Greece’s finance ministry reportedly paid a first installment, worth 310 million euros, to the IMF on Friday for bailout loans the country received.

Citing an anonymous government source, Reuters reported that “the payment of 310 million euros has been made, with a Friday value date.”

It should be noted that Greece still has to pay another three installments; on March 13, 16 and 20, as part of its obligations to the IMF this month.
