Greek boccia player Grigoris Polychronidis has claimed gold at the sport’s world championships in Liverpool, U.K.

Polychronidis clinched top spot in Wednesday’s final by beating South Korean opponent Von-Ho Geong in the BC3 ranking.

The Paralympic sport is played in around 50 countries worldwide.

Polychronidis, a four-time medal winner at the Paralympic Games beat his rival 6-5.
