Greek government exposed: Offshore amendment still not officially law

27 New Democracy MPs submit question

The corrective amendment passed by the Greek government on the scandalous offshore article has not been published in the government gazette, raising concerns over whether this delay is intentional or ‘criminal’ negligence. The fact that another piece of legislation voted in after the controversial amendment was published in the government gazette of Tuesday June 7 simply confirms the suspicions raised over the delay.

Meanwhile, 27 New Democracy deputies submitted a question to Greek PM Alexis Tsipras in parliament on the offshore amendment claiming there was a link between the delay in publishing the politicians’ tax statements and the specific amendment.
