Japanese create a fork that tastes like salt

It also tastes like sour

In the minds of most people Japan and innovative technology are synonymous concepts. And rightly so, because the Japanese rarely fail to deliver when it comes to new inventions. The latest incredible one is a fork that tastes like salt! The fork has a special button that when pressed will releases an electrical discharge creating the sensation on the taste buds of salt. The inventors claim their ‘salty fork’ could help many people with health problems, while they say that it can also replicate the taste of sour and metallic. The group of Japanese scientist that created the fork argue that it only cost $12 to make. The ‘salty-fork’, which is not yet water proof, was created for the ‘No Salt Restaurant’ that is trying to make salt less meals. The fork has 3 salt levels and 6 hours battery life.
