Korkidis: 60 thousand Greek businesses left for Bulgaria

Syriza questions numbers

President of the Hellenic Confederation of Commerce & Entrepreneurship Vassilis Korkidis said 60 thousand Greek businesses have applied to move their operations to Bulgaria due to capital controls and the inability by the Greek government to deal with severe problem faced by businesses. Talking to Greek TV station Skai, Sunday morning Korkidis accused the Greek government of showing incompetence, as the auditing committee set up by authorities to examine requests by small and medium businesses over capital control had failed to do its job. On the same TV program Syriza’s parliamentary representative Nikos Filis questioned the numbers Korkidis cited accusing him of fear mongering.
