The privatization of the Piraeus Port and the one of Thessaloniki as well as the privatization of OSE were all set by the troika last November as one of the prior actions, which should be completed by the Greek side in order to close the review.

However, according to Mr. Lafazanis, under a SYRIZA government the port of Piraeus will be restored to its full functionality. It will remain public so as to be fully utilized in the best interest of the Greek people.
