Luxury motor yacht Alexander, originally purchased by Greek shipping tycoon John S. Latsis, is now for sale marking the end of an era. The yacht has welcomed royal guests from Buckingham palace such as Prince Charles and Lady Di and the world’s most powerful statesmen such as Mikhail Gorbachev, George Bush and even Hollywood legends like John Travolta.

Now the luxury motor yacht is up for sale, ready to move on.

Previously known as Regina Maris, the yacht was built and designed by German company Lubecker Flender Werke in 1965, however converted from a passenger vessel to a sleek mega yacht by shiopyard Hapaq-Lloyd from 1985-1987. With a steel hull and superstructure, the elegant yacht measures 122 meters and can accomodate up to 80 guests in 40 cabins including 14 suites with two double bedrooms, two bathrooms and a salon each.

A crew of 57 is available to ensure that everything runs smoothly as the yacht cruises comfortably at 16 knots and has exceptional long-range capabilities that allow her passengers to enjoy a wide range of distant destinations, from well-known ports of call to secluded escapes. From her immense array of onboard facilities and water toys to the impressively spacious rooms of her interior, Alexander is an ideal charter yacht for both families and corporate groups.

Full of exciting entertainment options, the yacht features a disco bar, 27-seat cinema, children’s playroom and beauty salon among her extensive list of amenities.
