Traffic has come to a standstill following the accident

A lorry carrying sacks of flour crashed into twelve cars causing absolute chaos on the National Highway at the height of Metamorfosis heading to Athens at 8 a.m. on Wednesday. The driver of the truck lost control citing problems with his brakes that began at the Attiki Highway and reminding those present of the tragic 40-car pileup on the Egnatia Highway in Northern Greece on October 5.
