Memorial march of tens of thousands of opposition supporters

Following the death of leading Russian opposition politician and former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov who was shot dead in Moscow.

In order to honor the leading Russian opposition politician and former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov who was shot dead on Friday, thousands of people gathered in central Moscow on Sunday, before marching to the spot on Great Moskvoretsky Bridge where he left his last breath.

In his memory people tied bouquets to the wall of the bridge, left thousands of flowers, candles and lampposts. They have brought photographs, handwritten posters and poems.

Many believe that Boris Nemtsov was killed for his political views.
