A lucky man was found trapped in his car in Panopoulo village in Ilia of Peloponnese. He was reported missing for five days, since the heavy rainfalls hit Ilia area last week. All the members of his family thought that there was no chance of finding him alive. But 78-year- old Thodoros Patsouris proved that he was not meant to die that way. A shepherd walking around the area spotted his crashed car 500 meters away from the village. It was off the road, next to National Road 111, in a gorge covered by vegetation and called the village’s coffee shop.
The Fire Department hurried to the spot, where they had to tear off the iron metals of the car to get him out. He was conscious but tired and was transported to the University Hospital of Rio.
