Over 15,000 migrants and refugees on Greek islands

They even landed on the island of Milos

The number of migrants and refugees trapped on the Greek islands has passed the 15,000-mark for the first since the EU-Turkey deal was signed. Nearly 500 arrived on the islands over the past 5 days from the Turkish coasts. Even the small island of Milos has received 111 people lately. Lesvos has 5,873 refugees and migrants, while 4,186, 1,990 and 1,889 are being hosted on the islands of Chios, Samos and Kos, respectively, all of which have applied for asylum, according to to the data from the police.
