The most noted landmark of Filiatra, a town in Messenia, the Peloponnese, is a reproduction of the Eiffel Tower that stands at the entrance to the village. Tourists search for it for a photo opportunity. The replica is of small dimensions – just 26 meters tall – and was created by sculptor Hary Fournier (aka H. Fournarakis) in 2007.
