Presentation of archaeological cadastre’s web portal at Acropolis Museum

The registry aims to become a valuable source of reliable information regarding the country’s three millennia of cultural heritage

An official presentation of an integrated information system and the web portal of the project “Archaeological Cadastre” will take place on Friday morning at the New Acropolis Museum’s auditorium.

The Hellenic Archaeological Cadastre is the first systematic digital registry for archaeological and historical sites managed by the culture ministry.

The registry aims to become a valuable source of reliable information regarding the country’s three millennia of cultural heritage, as it will include detailed data on ownership and acquisition status, the historical identity of each site and monument, precise geospatial data and more.
