Chairman of Kingdom Holding Company Prince Alwaleed bin Talal met with Ioannis Christofilis, the Greek Ambassador to Saudi Arabia to discuss a number of economic issues. During the meeting, Mr. Christofilis handed the Prince a letter from Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras.

Prince Alwaleed had met with Mr. Samaras during his keynote speech related to the “Strengthening of European-Arab Relations” held under the auspices of the Hellenic Presidency of the Council of the European Union and the League of Arab States in Athens during May.

The relations between the Greek government and the Prince are cordial. Prince Alwaleed congratulated Greece for improving its economy and witnessing positive growth in 2014.
