The figures mean that protothema.gr (which also hosts the English-language en.protothema.gr) is Greece’s leading Internet site, with a sizable difference from all other Greek-language websites.
The record numbers are also impressive if compared to the total number of Greek-speakers around the world, and of course, the number of those people that use the Internet.
Protothema.gr ‘s record-breaking performance came during a month when historic developments, focusing directly on Greece, dominated much of the world’s headlines.
