Father and uncle say they are anxious about the boy’s future but are hoping all ends well

The relatives of the two Greek soldiers who were arrested by the Turkish military on the northeastern borders of Greece near the Evros River told protothema.gr soldiers they were shellshocked after the news.

The father and uncle of one of the soldiers named Dimitris Kouklatzis said they were anxious about their boy: “All we do is be patient. We have not learned how it happened, or what our child is doing now”, the father told protothema.gr.

And he added: “We believe in God and we hope everything will be over soon. The only information we have is through TVs and sites”. The uncle said they had no communication with them and expressed hope that they were well.
