A school crashed into a truck in near Rochefort in the western Charente-Maritime region, France killing at least six children, according to police.

The school bus was carrying 17 or 18 students, while about eight students were not injured.

According to Le Figaro newspaper and iTele network, 6 students are dead while the bus driver is wounded, while other media reports claim the bus driver is also dead.
