Seminar on business opportunities for Greek enterprises to be held at Foreign Ministry

High-ranking European Commission officials have been invited as speakers

A Seminar will be held at 09:30 tomorrow, Thursday, 19 March 2015, at the Foreign Ministry’s Kranidiotis Amphitheatre (1 Akadimias St.) on the subject of “Business opportunities for Greek Enterprises in the framework of EU funding mechanisms”. The seminar is being organized by the Foreign Ministry, and specifically by the International Development Cooperation Department and the 2nd General Directorate.

The seminar, to which high-ranking European Commission officials have been invited as speakers, is addressed to Greek entrepreneurs and agencies, in order to inform them with regard to “traditional” and “innovative” EU funding mechanisms in third countries. The relevant information concerns EU-funded programmes mainly in the sectors of energy, transport, information and communication technologies, and agricultural development in the regions of Southeast Europe, the Middle East, North and Sub-Saharan Africa, and developing regions of Asia and Latin America.

Within this framework, there will also be a consideration of issues of best applied practices, successful cases, and difficulties the Greek entrepreneur might come up against in the particular regions.
