A group of students threw stones to bank branches at the center of the Athens and at the Parliament during the student rally held in Athens, while the police responded with tear gas.

Students of the Attica region protested against deficiencies in teachers, infrastructure, books and other material at schools demanding adequate funding for their schools.

Meanwhile, the high school teachers’ labor union OLME has declared a working stoppage from 11 am to 14 pm to support the rally.
