The express-test for Ebola diagnosis is ready

Guinea patients will be the first to be tested

French scientists have developed the express-test for Ebola diagnosis and is ready to be tested within the next few days on patients in Guinea.

According to “Liberation” the express-test can detect the virus in less than 15 minutes and tests will begin in November in patients in Guinea, while the results of clinical trials will be given in the coming weeks.

According to the French head of the campaign “The diagnostic tests -which resembles a pregnancy test will make a big difference in the diagnosis of the virus”.
