The fourth annual Tango Acropolis festival will take place in the city of Athens from December 5-8 2014, presenting the passionate Argentinean dance to the inhabitants and the visitors of the Greek capital.

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires, the Tango Acropolis 2014 will represent the 1st Official International Preliminary of the World Tango competition of Buenos Aires, which will be held in August 2015.

The winners in the categories “Tango Salon” and “Tango Escenario” will be named the Champions of Greece and they will represent the country in the World Qualifier competition in August 2015.

Tango Acropolis is an annually festival of Tango held in Athens since 2011. It’s program includes a number of activities, such as free introductory courses open to the public and shows by famous dancers.
